A basic ad absurdum argument should suffice for naysayers. Is it reasonable for every person to have the same amount of wealth? No. Is it reasonable for one person to have all of the wealth and the rest have zero? No. So where in the middle can we meet? Regulating the amount of wealth that an individual can control is not socialism. It's just basic common sense.
