Clean energy is a myth. Every type of clean energy requires constant input from oil for material or transport. The only solution is less people using less energy and living more sustainably. This solution will happen. How it goes down is the part that is up in the air. I would guess violently and painfully based on past human choices throughout history. But the more people that recognize that it is an inevitable process, the more we can pursue policies that make the transition more humane.
