…r the most part, right-wing parties have been more consistently successful than left-wing parties. (The terminology is slightly muddled by the USA, which as a nation is so far to the right that the US Republican Party is in reality a neofascist organization while the Democratic Party is, in European terms, center-right even though US voters imagine it’s on the left side of the political spectrum.)
