I've read some articles on how London is the money laundering capitol of the world. It's looking to me like the powers that be want to keep it that way. So, Brexit to get away from snoopers in Europe, shift culture towards privatization and more inequality, and empower police to keep the people down so no one can protest anything. Illegal activity by big money interests thrives in societies where there are plenty of distractions as factions fight among themselves while at the same time the government relaxes regulations. Sounds like exactly the type of change going on right now and over the past few years in the UK.
