Lots of problems with this analysis. The main one being that China is way more vulnerable to a blockade than we are. Yes, Taiwan would suffer. But the US could blockade oil and food from China and China would suffer way more.

China is also a shrinking power. They have very few natural resources. Huge importer. And their population is going to be shrinking and aging exponentially over the next 5-10 years.
